Spring maintenance tips for your fence

Obviously when you install a fence on your property, you hope that it will stand the test of time and prevail throughout many conditions. Lucky for you, A & G Fencing offers Woodguard fence posts, which are designed to weather these exact conditions and last much longer than regular wood fence posts.
Traditional wood fence posts are subject to dry rot, fungus, and termites because they are set in the damp ground where the moisture creates problems. Woodguard solves for those issues.
Consisting of a solid wood core and treated with a non-toxic, certified organic borate compound, Woodguard protects your fence from dry rot, fungus, and termites.
The wood is also coated in an engineered, UV-stabilized polymer and put through a cold-water process that shrinks the coating to fit the wood. It is the only coating on the market made with Ultratech UV light blockers. Fading, peeling, chipping, cracking, and deteriorating are prevented by the light blockers in the Woodguard coating.
Able to sustain a hammer impact at -30°C without cracking or splitting, Woodguard fence posts will remain pliable in both hot and cold temperatures.
Woodguard fence posts will add roughly 10% to the overall cost of your fence install, but will more than pay you back for that cost in the long run.
While the traditional wood fence panels may last 15-20 years, Woodguard posts will last even longer. That being said, simply replacing the fence panels and keeping the existing posts in tact will be cost effective and efficient when the time comes, and Woodguard offers a 20 year warranty!
Woodguard fence posts will provide the structural integrity needed to hold your fence strong for many years to come.
